Kio ra and welcome back to my blog, today I will be talking about writing that we are doing for this term. We are doing Narrative writing. Our teacher gave us a photo to write about. Our teacher let us choose if wanted to do present tense or past tense. Present tense is when it happens now and past means it happened ages ago. For narratives you need similes, adverbs, adjectives, metaphors, description and different sentence starters. Every story would have to have a problem.
Here is my narrative writing.
As a guy walks through my front yard with a gun and gasoline, I rush to my backyard and hide in the garage. Bang! The sound of the guy in my front yard breaking into my house. He is aiming his gun while searching for me.
He opens the cap that's on the gasoline and pours it everywhere, searching for a lighter or matches. He finds the lighter that I use to make a fire. Throwing it onto the gasoline. "Whoosh" The sound of the fire lighting up and burning my house down.
After the flames explode he takes out his gun and starts searching for me again. He yells " don't hide I know you're in the garage somewhere." I heard him so I ran to the fence'.
Scraping noises from me trying to climb the fence but he catches me. He pulls me off the fence and drags me onto the ground. As I kick him in the stomach he falls on his head. I ran fast like a cheetah but he stands up and starts chasing me.
I haven't finished my story yet as the problem of the man is not fully resolved.
