limerick

Aloha, and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be telling you about the three poems we started this term. The one we started yesterday was a limerick. A limerick has no title, it has to be 5 lines long, line 1 woould have to start with (there once), It has a rhyming pattern of AABBA, line 1,2 and 3 has the same number ish numbers of syllables, line 3 and 4 are short but both have the same number of syllables.

Here is my limerick writing

There was a little penguin named Jarold

He had a older brother named Harold

They were racing down a steep hill

And ran into a boy called bill

Then found a friend named Carold

  1. Interesting names Moira!
Just remember that Bill also needs a capital letter :)
Thanks for sharing your cool work.
