Talofa everyone. This term we have been doing silhouette art. We did it because the red block had bird names. We had to dye a white piece of paper and dye it. The colours were yellow, red , green, grey and brown. After we put it in the middle room and wait 24 hours for it to dry. Then we got a black piece of paper and drew a bird and after we cut it out. Then we got a glue stick and stuck it to our paper that was dyed.
Here is my art.
The silhouette looks good on your background Moira.
ReplyDeleteI was jut wondering what bird it is that you have drawn. It reminds me of a sparrow or thrush, but I think the blocks have been named after native birds.
Is this a piwakawaka?.
