100 word count

Hello welcome back to my blog. Today i'll be showing you my hundred word count from week eight. The prompt was just words. We had to right any story but with the words in it. The story had to make sense and had to be exactly 100 words. So I writ mine about me and my friends gong on a road trip. Here is the story I writ.

Week 8

Vehicle, climbed, music, furry, slowly

One day I went on a road trip with some friends. We were heading to Franz Josef. We rode in our favourite vehicle. We played music as well. Before we left we got a furry blanket just in case it gets cold, we also bought some petrol for the car. We started to drive slowly, then later on we went a little bit faster. Our stomach started to rumble so we stopped n the side. My friend was too scared to go outside of the clean polished car to get some food, so she climbed over and got some biscuits.

 Hello welcome back to my blog today I´ll be talking about what we have been doing for topic. We have been doing paper maches.. We had to choose a bird. Then we had to get some wire and try to make it the shape of the bird we had chosen. Our teacher made this sticky stuff that is made out of clear glue and water. Then she mixed it. After that we had to make strips of newspaper, then we have to dip the strips of newspaper in the glue and get rid of the rest of it and place the newspaper on the wire.

4 different types of native birds

 Hello and welcome back to my amazing blog. For topic we had to make a presentation on 4 different types of native birds. We could do it on our topic book or our chrome book. We had to find 4 native birds and write 3 facts about it. We could also work in partners so I worked with 3 people. I would like to show you my presentation I made with my 2 partners. 

Follow up work

 Hello and welcome back to my blog today I wanted to show you my follow up work from my reading group. Our follow up is about is logging native timber trees good or bad. We also made a PNI. Our teacher Miss Scott would rather give us a google doc or we can make our own. I made mine a google drawings. Here is what I have been working on so far.

100 word count term 2

 This term we have been doing 100 word count. We have to write a story that has 100 word. Our teacher Miss Scott will put a google slide in our room 10 site and write in the phrases. When we write our story the phrase has to be in it. 

We have to write what week it is and write what the phrase is. Sometimes we will have a sentence to put in our story and also have to write about a photo. This one was just words that have to be in our story. The story also has to be exactly 100 words. 

Here is one of my stories from week 2.

                                     …Oar,    Rule,    Mushroom,    Wistful,    Wrinkled…

One day a Mum and her daughters Tara and Niki were going on a walk. They walked past a river and saw an old lady with wrinkled skin and a wistful look in a canoe. The lady had an oar from the 1900’s. Tara and Niki ignored the lady and kept on walking. It had been a couple of minutes and Niki was getting tired. Niki told her mum that she was tired and Tara said “It's good for you”. They kept walking and they saw a mushroom shaped house. The rule was no screaming. Tara said, “Let's go now”.

Silhouette Art

Talofa everyone.  This term we have been doing silhouette art. We did it because the red block had bird names. We had to dye a white piece of paper and dye it. The colours were yellow, red , green, grey and brown. After we put it in the middle room and wait 24 hours for it to dry. Then we got a black piece of paper and drew a bird and after we cut it out. Then we got a glue stick and stuck it to our paper that was dyed.

Life Education

On Thursday and Wednesday we went to Life Education. They told My classroom and I a lot about the brain. Siobhan, the teacher, bought out the giraffe called Harold, he told us his dad jokes and said he was 32 years old. Next we rolled this dice and it would land on one position and my classroom and I would have to copy it, our teacher was also doing it as well. The life Education lady rolled the dice first and we copied it, after our teacher would say who did the position better and chose someone to roll the dice.

Next we had a disco and our teacher chose three people to go up and do some dance moves, but we had to go on our knees because we were in a wide van and if we stand up and jump around the van will start to move. Here are some photos of Life Education.
