Haiku

Talofa lava and today I'm showing you my Haiku poem we did. We did 4 poems. Out of the 4 poems I chose my haiku poem for the festivals of flowers. A haiku poem is a Japanese poem. It has no title, 3 lines, First line will have 5 syllables, second line will have 7 syllables and the 3rd line has 5 syllables.  It has to be describing the  beauty of nature.  We had to do two flowers. My flowers were a poppy and a rose. We were also not allowed to use the same flowers we wrote about in our Cinquains.

There was a little penguin named Jarold

He had a older brother named Harold

They were racing down a steep hill

And ran into a boy called bill

Then found a friend named Carold

Spring Learning Journey number 9

Hey y'all. Welcome back to my blog. For cyber smart we have been doing our Spring learning Journey. We got to choose if we wanted to do the activities or finish off our reading stuff. I chose the activities because I was to bothered to finish the reading stuff. I decided to do the poster about an animal and write 5 facts or more. My animal was a tiger.  I was going to do a cheetah but Leala said I couldn't do it because she was doing a cheetah.

Here is my tiger poster.
